AGM – Tues 24th January 2012

Thanks for a great turnout at the AGM, it was very encouraging to get so much support and input.

Most existing committee members are continuing their roles for 2012 with the welcome addition of more ‘new blood’ to drive the club forward.

BIKE STOLEN

STOLEN – 22nd January 2012 from Garswood (Wigan/st Helen’s area)

2007 KTM SX50 – orange and black big talon wheels, wide renthal bars, new redbull graphics. The only thing different from photo is the name and number backgrounds are now number 7 and say Harry Hooper.

STOLEN – 7th January 2012 from Dovecot, Liverpool.

2011 KTM SX50 – totalmx graphics (one of a kind) orange rear sprocket, fuel cap, brand new protaper pillow top grips, new michelin tyres, gold race chain. Use ‘contact us’ with any info.

STOLEN – 7th/8th December 2011 from Blackburn Area

2012 SUZUKI RM85 wth Talon/Excel red Small wheels, Spiral GFX with Rockstar design, no. 8 with James Heys written in number. Cut down red seat. 3 riders only so virtually new. RSS suspension.

2012 HONDA CRF150 with standard Big wheels and standard red seat. Used once but with old Spiral GFX graphics with Monster design on white plastics. Red Pulse top clamps and red Renthal fat bars. Standard pipe. RSS suspension

2007 KXF450, standard bike with no. 9 on front and one sde and 91 on other side.

2 x CRF50 2005 models. One is standard with a black front number sticker. One as Red Baron top clamp and bars and purple grips, external air filter and has standard Honda seat and not black high seat as photo. Also has Hot wheels graphics and not as photo. 2011 Presentation Evening

With well over 200 attendees, Newton-le-Willows MCC closed their 2011 season in style at BAE Systems’ Canberra Club, Samlesbury. The MC Federation Grand Slam AMX winner, Rob Clitheroe kindly gave up his time to present  each qualifying rider with their championship trophies and with an abundance of raffle and auction prizes provided by some very generous sponsors, great food and dancing until the early hours it was one to remember for all the kids and adults alike.

2012 Membership/Dates

2012 Membership info is now available to Download. This year’s members will be sent renewals in the post together with their MCF licence application forms in the next couple of weeks. Please note that the club with which you submit your licence application will be the club that you represent for the Elite Youth League, if applicable, in 2012. It will also put you in the running for the Grand Slam Final – The more support we get with this, the better chance there is of winning the Elite Youth League. Third in our first attempt in 2011 was a great success, considering we were 6 riders short !!

We have coordinated with Vale and around the BYMX/RBPN to get our dates sorted nice and early (changes may be necessary if these events are re-scheduled though) Dates as follows:

• Round 1/2 – 31st March/1st April

• Round 3/4 – 6th/7th May

• Round 5/6 – 3rd/4th June

• Round 7/8 – 30th June/1st July

• Round 9/10 – 18th/19th August

• Round 11/12 – 1st/2nd September (inc Lancs Grand Nat.)

• Poss Rd 13/14 – 22nd/23rd September
